AUTHORIZED VISA AGENT FOR SINGAPORE

A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to and seek entry into Singapore.

You must present yourself for immigration clearance at the point of entry into Singapore. You must meet the following basic requirements before you can be considered for entry:

To apply for an entry visa for Business or Social visit, you will need the following documents:

Duly completed Form 14A, Form V39A & Singapore Authorization Letter signed by you (all columns and blank spaces to be completed)

SINGAPORE AUTHORIZATION LETTER PDF FORMAT

Your recent passport-sized colour photograph with White Background taken within the last three months. Please see Photo Guidelines for information on photo requirements.
A photocopy of your passport’s biodata and last page (valid for at least six months from the date of your entry into Singapore)
A completed Form V39A (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application (LOI)), which may be issued by a local contact* in Singapore.
Additional supporting documents may be required on a case-by-case basis.
*The local contact must be either a Singapore citizen (SC) or a Singapore permanent resident (PR) who is at least 21 years old with a SingPass/CorpPass account. If you are applying for an entry visa for business visit (attending business negotiations or discussions), the local contact must be acting on behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity. LOIs issued by your Embassy can also be accepted, if you are unable to secure an LOI from a local contact to support your visa application for social and business visits.

Procedure

With effect from 1 April 2009, the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Chennai no longer accepts individual walk-in applications. All applications would be submitted via a new electronic visa (e-Visa) application system that allows visas to be processed online.

Alternatively, a local sponsor in Singapore (with a SingPass account) can also submit your application online on your behalf.

Fees

  1. The processing fee for each visa application is INR 1800/-
  2. The service fee charged is INR 650/-
  3. The applicant would be issued with a receipt listing the visa processing fee and service fee upon each successful payment.
  4. The applicant would be notified by the Authorised Visa Agent on the outcome of the visa application within one (01) working day.
  5. Applicant may be asked to submit any other visa-related information as instructed by the Authority, as required.

Prcessing Time

our visa application will be processed in 3 to 5 working days after your application has been submitted to an Authorised Visa Agent. This excludes the day of submission, weekends, and public holidays. Some applications may take longer to process.

Each visa application will be considered on its own merits.

If your application is approved, your Authorised Visa Agent can provide you a copy of your e-Visa
